Quick answer: Can I buy ExpenseBot on Google Cloud Marketplace?

Yes. ExpenseBot is publicly listed on Google Cloud Marketplace, so you can subscribe with a Google Cloud billing account and see the charges on your Google Cloud bill. The plan is USD 10 per month including the owner's seat, plus USD 10 per additional seat-month. Buying there handles payment only: your users still sign in with Google to connect their accounts.

Buy through Google Cloud Marketplace

ExpenseBot is available on Google Cloud Marketplace for commercial subscription and Google Cloud billing. This route suits teams whose purchasing already runs through a Google Cloud billing account, so a new tool does not need a separate vendor contract or a card on file with ExpenseBot.

  1. Open the ExpenseBot listing on Google Cloud Marketplace.
  2. Review the plan, pricing and free-trial terms shown by Google.
  3. Subscribe with the Google Cloud billing account and Google identity your organization uses for purchases.
  4. Google sends you to ExpenseBot to finish account setup. Sign in with Google using the same identity that subscribed.
  5. Connect the Gmail account you want scanned, and add team members if you bought for a team.
  6. Separately, if your organization restricts third-party apps, have a Workspace admin allow or install ExpenseBot from Google Workspace Marketplace.

Clicking through to the listing, or seeing a Subscribe button, does not mean a purchase has completed. The subscription exists once Google confirms it and ExpenseBot links it to your account.

What Google Cloud Marketplace changes, and what it does not

Google Cloud Marketplace changes how you pay. It does not change how ExpenseBot reaches your users.

  • Changes: the subscription, extra seats and past-year purchases are billed through your Google Cloud billing account.
  • Does not change: nothing is installed for Google Workspace users. Each person still signs in with Google and authorizes the Gmail and Drive access ExpenseBot asks for.
  • Does not change: your records. Receipts, spreadsheets and reports stay in your own Google Drive, the same as with direct signup.

To make ExpenseBot available across your domain, install or allow it from Google Workspace Marketplace. The Google Workspace page covers admin installation, organizational-unit availability and the Gmail, Drive and Sheets integration, and the privacy policy covers how ExpenseBot handles your data.

A Workspace email domain alone never switches you to Marketplace billing. Marketplace billing applies only after a verified subscription from Google Cloud Marketplace is linked to your ExpenseBot account.

Pricing and free trial on Google Cloud Marketplace

Monthly planUSD 10 per month, owner's seat included
Additional seatsUSD 10 per seat-month, prorated for the time each seat is enabled, whether or not it is assigned
Past years (optional)USD 79 for one selected completed year, or USD 199 for Any Past Year
Free trialUp to 60 days or USD 50 in provider fees, whichever comes first. Infrastructure is excluded.

These are the Google Cloud Marketplace terms. Marketplace billing is monthly; there is no annual plan on Google Cloud Marketplace. Signing up directly at expensebot.ai follows ExpenseBot's own checkout, trial and annual option, described on the pricing page. Google applies its own trial accounting on Marketplace subscriptions.

Example: an owner who adds two teammates for a full month pays USD 10 for the plan plus USD 20 for the two extra seat-months, USD 30 in total. A seat enabled halfway through a calendar month accrues about half a seat-month.

From purchase to accountant-ready records

ExpenseBot is an expense management application that gathers receipts from authorized Gmail accounts and uploads, extracts the details, and writes reviewed, source-linked expense records to a Google Sheet in your Google Drive. The product is the same whichever way you pay; the Marketplace listing does not add or remove features.

  • Receipts arrive from Gmail, uploads and phone photos, each linked to its source file.
  • You review uncertain items, and team owners can match employee spending against existing company cards.
  • Records stay in Google Sheets and Drive, ready to export for your accountant, QuickBooks Online or Xero.

ExpenseBot is not a general ledger and does not file taxes. Accountants can work from the same records through the accountant dashboard, and AI assistants can read them through the receipt collection MCP server.

Frequently asked questions

Is ExpenseBot available on Google Cloud Marketplace?

Yes. ExpenseBot is publicly available on Google Cloud Marketplace for commercial subscription and Google Cloud billing. Opening the listing or clicking Subscribe is not itself proof that a purchase completed; the subscription exists once Google confirms it and you finish setup with ExpenseBot.

What is the difference between Google Cloud Marketplace and Google Workspace Marketplace?

Google Cloud Marketplace is the purchase and billing route. Google Workspace Marketplace is the administrator installation and app-availability route. Buying through Google Cloud Marketplace does not install ExpenseBot for your Workspace users, and installing from Google Workspace Marketplace does not buy a subscription.

What does ExpenseBot cost through Google Cloud Marketplace?

The plan is USD 10 per month, which includes the owner's seat, plus USD 10 per additional seat-month, prorated for the time each seat is enabled. Optional past-year purchases are USD 79 for one selected completed year or USD 199 for Any Past Year. The Marketplace free trial lasts up to 60 days or USD 50 in provider fees, whichever comes first; infrastructure is excluded.

Does my Google Workspace email mean I am billed through Google Cloud Marketplace?

No. A Workspace email domain or Google sign-in never selects Marketplace billing. Marketplace billing applies only after a verified subscription from Google Cloud Marketplace is linked to your ExpenseBot account. Otherwise ExpenseBot's direct billing applies.

Does purchasing through Google Cloud Marketplace install ExpenseBot for our employees?

No. Use Google Workspace Marketplace or your organization's OAuth policy to make ExpenseBot available to users. Each person still signs in with Google to connect the account they use with ExpenseBot.

Our company already pays Google Cloud. Can I put ExpenseBot on that bill instead of a card?

Yes, if you subscribe from the Google Cloud Marketplace listing with a Google Cloud billing account you are allowed to use for purchases. Charges then appear on that Google Cloud bill. Signing up directly at expensebot.ai uses ExpenseBot's own checkout instead.
