Short answer: Yes. ExpenseBot is publicly listed on Google Cloud Marketplace. You subscribe with a Google Cloud billing account and the charges appear on your Google Cloud bill. Opening the listing or clicking Subscribe is not proof that a purchase completed; the subscription exists once Google confirms it and ExpenseBot links it to your account.

Pricing on Google Cloud Marketplace

  • Monthly plan: USD 10 per month, with the owner's seat included.
  • Additional seats: USD 10 per seat-month, prorated for the time each seat is enabled (an enabled seat is billed even before it is assigned).
  • Past years (optional): USD 79 for one selected completed year, or USD 199 for Any Past Year. For a Marketplace-billed account these are also billed through Google Cloud Marketplace.
  • Free trial: up to 60 days or USD 50 in provider fees, whichever comes first. Infrastructure is excluded.

These are the Google Cloud Marketplace terms. Marketplace billing is monthly; there is no annual plan on Google Cloud Marketplace. Signing up directly at expensebot.ai uses ExpenseBot's own checkout, trial and annual option instead.

Cloud Marketplace is billing, not installation

Google Cloud Marketplace and Google Workspace Marketplace do different jobs:

  • Google Cloud Marketplace = purchase and billing.
  • Google Workspace Marketplace = app availability and admin installation for users and organizational units.

Buying through Google Cloud Marketplace does not install ExpenseBot for your Workspace users. To make it available across your domain, follow the admin installation guide. Each person still signs in with Google to connect the account they use with ExpenseBot.

A Google Workspace email domain or Google sign-in alone never switches an account to Marketplace billing. Marketplace billing applies only after a verified Google Cloud Marketplace subscription is linked to the ExpenseBot account; otherwise ExpenseBot's direct billing applies.

After you subscribe

  1. Google sends you to ExpenseBot to finish account setup.
  2. Sign in with Google using the same identity that subscribed.
  3. Connect the Gmail account you want scanned, and add team members if you bought for a team.

The product is the same whichever way you pay. A Google Cloud Marketplace listing is not an endorsement by Google.
