- Wanted more accounting integrations. Early reviewers asked for broader support beyond QuickBooks and Xero. We've since shipped Sage 50 Canada, Sage 50 USA, Sage Intacct, FreshBooks, Wave, Zoho Books, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central — ten total integrations.
- No native mobile app. ExpenseBot is browser-based by design — that's how deployment is 30 seconds via the Google Workspace Marketplace and how teams can onboard contractors instantly. For mobile receipt capture, snapping a photo and forwarding the email works on iOS and Android without an install.
- No corporate card issuance. ExpenseBot deliberately stays out of the card-issuance business. If you need a corporate card program, Ramp or Brex are the right tools — ExpenseBot pairs with both.

"Rob, the chief architect of this app is very receptive to suggestions and was quick to implement a change in the import from Google calendars mileage feature. This feature allows the user to have expense bot scan your Google calendar events and as long as the event has a location saved with it, it will automatically pop those into your mileage report. This was there at the beginning, but now has been tweaked to allow the user to choose which calendar(s) to scan. For example, I have a separate calendar under the same user account for business mileage as opposed to personal trips. You can now select any calendar you have under the same account. Very helpful!"
