ExpenseBot works with different types of email accounts depending on your role:
For Expense Tracking Users: You need a Google account (not necessarily Gmail):
- Standard Gmail accounts (@gmail.com)
- Google Workspace accounts (custom domains like yourname@company.com)
- Google accounts created with any existing email (Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)
For Reviewers/Approvers: NO Google account needed! Use ANY email to review and approve reports via secure link.
Have Google Workspace? If your company uses Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), you already have everything needed - just sign in!
Don't have a Google account? Create one in 2 minutes using your existing email:
- Go to accounts.google.com/signup
- Click "Use your existing email" instead of creating Gmail
- Enter your current email and verify
- Done! Access ExpenseBot without changing your email
