Open Settings → Push Notifications.
Push is enabled separately on each device and browser. Turning it off on your computer does not turn it off on your phone or another installed ExpenseBot app. Your alert-type choices apply across all devices where push is enabled.
You can choose:
- Gmail receipt notifications when connected Gmail scanning finds receipts
- Quiet mode to keep those alerts visible without sound or vibration
- Processing complete notifications when captured receipts finish processing
- Reports and account activity for reports, reconciliation, account reviews, team activity, and financial insights
On iPhone or iPad, use iOS/iPadOS 16.4 or later and add ExpenseBot to your Home Screen first: open the browser's Share menu, choose Add to Home Screen, then open ExpenseBot from its icon and enable push in Settings.
On Android and desktop, use a current browser with Web Push support. Permission belongs to that browser/device, so a blocked permission must be changed in that browser's site or system settings.
If a browser silently loses or rotates its subscription, ExpenseBot repairs the server registration when you next open the app. Expired device endpoints are removed without affecting your other devices.
